Bowercart

A vehicle made out of moving wood by fae from @The Sylvan Court for the purpose of moving emergency materials to the front-lines of battle.   The enchanted tree that makes up the front of the vehicle acts as a magical shield, blocking forward attacks and sheltering those behind them. The roots of the tree move the cart, moving in a way akin to an insect.

Power Generation

Bowercarts run on a pre-generated magical item, which is essentially a single-use battery of magic. Once the magic store inside it runs out, the bowercart becomes as inert as a regular uprooted tree. To combat the downsides of this, a Bowercart Manager is assigned per bowercart to monitor the energy levels and direct the carts movements.

Propulsion

Uses the roots of the tree as makeshift legs, and the movement of the legs propel it forward.

Weapons & Armament

The sheer size of a bowercart makes it a useful weapon in its own right, and a lot of cunning bowercart managers would manoeuvre a dying bowercart into a position in battle where a falling tree would cause most damage.

Armor and defense

When placed under the magic to transform it, a bowercarts forward facing branches and leaves become magic repellent, able to block most frontal magical attacks.   Similarly, upon dying a bowercart could also provide a useful barricade or shelter for fae when moved into a worthwhile position.
Price
Bowercarts do not cost anything beyond the price of uprooting a tree, and the magic to transform it into a bowercart. However, the price of the magic needed to make it varies per user.
Rarity
Outside of conflict, bowercarts are rarely used due to their impressive magical upkeep and the Sylvans hesitance at uprooting trees.
Length
Anywhere from a few metres to 20m plus.
Speed
Roughly as fast as a horse drawn cart.
Complement / Crew
Manned by at least one bowercart manager to direct cart movements and monitor magic levels of the item running it.
Cargo & Passenger Capacity
Depending on the size of the tree used to create it, up to roughly 100 humanoid fae and roughly 30 ton of equipment.
