Prime Alpha

The title 'Prime Alpha' is reserved for a singular Lycan who has proven himself to be the most powerful and most deserving leader of his species. This position is understandably a coveted role, so when it is time for a new one to be selected a massive competition begins. This competition is called 'The Blood Hunt.'
The Blood Hunt is held outside of Lycan territory (The Outlands) and overseen by the neighbouring territory of Harpy's Reach to ensure fairness. Throughout the hunt, the prospective alphas compete against each other in increasingly difficult and dangerous trials designed to not only to find the strongest among them, but also elevate their respective clan's/pack's status. Once found and crowned, the Prime Alpha may rule The Outlands until they are challenged and killed.
