Built near the base of Winter's Blade, this quiet town makes the most of its location both in the cold tundra of the The Chillands and as a religious site for the worshipers of King Winter.

  • Criminal:
    • Murder The unlawful killing of another being is forbidden within the borders of and one days quick march from Bladerest. Those found guilty must pay a fine of 250 gold pieces. If the guilty party is either unable or unwilling to pay the fine, all their possession shall be seized and sold off to pay the fine. Alternatively the guilty party may undertake the Trial of the Watcher, should the guilty party survival the Trial they will be allowed back into Bladerest with a full pardon.
      - Should an individual be found guilty of the crime of murder for a third time, the Trial of the Watcher may no longer be undertaken and the guilties punishment shall be being submerged in cold water for 10 minutes before being immediately banished from Bladerest
      - Anyone found guilty of committing the crime of murder on the Blade shall be put to death as sacrifice to King Winter for their transgression.
    • Theft The act of stealing from citizens of Bladerest is forbidden within the borders of and one day's slow march of the city. Those found guilty of the crime of theft shall be punished based on an order of scale:
      - Should the amount or worth stolen not exceed in value of 30 copper or 3 silver or if the stolen property consist solely of food not exceeding in value of 50 coppers or 5 silver then the guilty party must pay a fine in value equal to the stolen amount and a tenth or serve the town in an unpaid manner for a time equal to one month per 10 coppers stolen, with a minimum time of 1 month. 
      -- The time and manner in which unpaid service is render is to be determined by the Mayor at time of sentencing.
      - Should the amount or worth stolen not exceed in value of 10 silvers or 1 gold or if the stolen property consists solely of food not exceeding in value of 1 gold and 5 silvers the guilty party must pay a fine in value equal to the stolen amount and a half. Alternatively the guilty party may be branded in a place in which will be visible for all to see.
      - Should the amount or worth stolen exceed in value of 1 gold piece or if the stolen amount consists solely of food exceeding in value greater than 1 gold and 5 silvers then the guilty party will pay a fine equal in value to twice and a half the stolen value. Alternatively the guilty party may take part in the Trail of the Watcher.
      -- Should an individual be found guilty of theft of such value a fifth time the Trial of the Watcher may no longer be taken, and the guilty parties possessions will be seized and sold and the guilty party will be banished from Bladerest. 
    • Brawling Outside of festival days, public brawling is illegal within the borders of Bladerest. Those found guilty of Brawling are to spend one day with in the jail.
