Keep of the Seven-metal Chain

The highland keep of Baranstole, Artisan of the Binding Chain, residing above the Planes Above. Each stone is deliberately placed, so that not a drop of mortar was used, yet not even an insect can penetrate the walls. The ramparts are too tall for any ladder to scale. The walls are too thick for any siege.
From the towers spread forth the divine metals, a drawbridge to reach over any moat, or to cut off any hope of retreat.

Purpose / Function

The safe haven for The Divines, should any dare assault their realm. None have ever penetrated these walls, and none can. Forgelight breaks the darkest night, shattering the gloom. Heat roars from the forge, igniting not fleeting passion, but steadfast bonds. Yet in darker times, it is not artistry being forged, but chains.

Architecture

Seven towers, seven rings, seven gates, seven paths. The clangs of the ever-working Forge of the Imprisoned lie at the heart of the labyrinth. Baranstole, Artisan of the Binding Chain reworks all material that finds its way to his scrap, be it metal, stone, or flesh.
