Hall of the Ordered Steps
Hall of the Bleeding Lady and the Bloody Fiend. This realm is a great hall within the Planes Above, consisting of a grand feasting hall. The construction is meticulous. Hearths line the walls at even paces, repeating forever beyond sight.
Purpose / Function
This is the place by which the Bleeding Lady and Bloody Fiend evaluate the worth of one's spirit, after death.
Architecture
Uncountable hearths line the walls, stretching on to infinity. On approach, the mantle will be found to contain mementos of one's fate, such as imagery of treasured memories, or relics of hardship. Two chairs stand before it, of a manufacture reminiscent of one's home. Comfortably settling into a chair reveals a table set between the two. All other hearths become immaterial; the entirety of the world diminishes to the hearth, the chairs, and two seated figures: the fated spirit and either the Bleeding Lady or the Bloody Fiend.
Upon the table are a tray with comfort foods from one's home, and a written record of one's missteps against Fate. The food is an accolade for the completion of one's fate by the Bleeding Lady. The record is an admonishment of one's failures from Bloody Fiend.
