Graves Wendell was the Pirate King and Captain of the Crew of the Sea Serpent.
In 45 3E, Captain Graves fought with Whispering Blade. The fight ended in a draw, as neither could best the other.
In 54 3E, he was present at Belladonna's Final Ball, where he helped Nettie escape. The two of them fled to Waywocket's Treehouse.
A Group of Elves showed up at the Treehouse and knocked Graves unconscious. Damek the Bastard woke him up and asked about his motives. After finding out Graves was in it for the money, Damek ripped out his throat, killing him. His body was then burned when Waywocket's Treehouse was blown up.
In 70 3E, Nanny Wormgums appeared to Nettie with Graves' body behind her. Nanny Wormgums offered to bring Graves back in exchange for complete control over Nettie. If she refused, Nanny Wormgums would sever their connection and Nettie would never see Graves again. Nettie agreed, her eyes turning bright red as she lost control of herself. Captain Graves was brought back, but Nettie had no memory of him.
