A Lord Warden rules from a fortress, their job is mainly that of defense, and they oversee multiple settlements.
Appointment
The rank is transferred from the current holder to their heir at the time of the current holders passing, a ceremony is conducted by the King
during the cereimony the heir swears to defend the crown, the kingdom, and its people. they then are formally annoited as Lord Warden.
Duties
To defend the region from attacks, and to manage the settlements under you.
