Children of the Fire

During the height of the war, the tribe of Ishmak made the ultimate sacrifice, theirs was victory and defeat.

The Ishmak are one of the ten or eight elven nations. There are four elven nations in the south, the Kaolai, Yupanki, Kenatan and the Ishmak. In the north there are the Aldrim, Shatun, Dumul and Geleter. There are also the two lost nations, Kutek and Eandu.

History

A lot has been forgotten on the history of the Ishmak. Most of this is due to the War against the Second God, which devastated their former homeland. They used to live high in the peaks of the southern mountains. Their specialty were geomancy and pyromancy.
When the War against the Second God came, they were closest to the epicentre of conflict and fought the hardest. It is said that in a single day, thousands of pyromancers attacked the Second God in a suicidal onslaught and drove back large parts of its army. All of these mages nonetheless perished. It is said that a single Champion of the Ishmak defeated the Second God in their last battle and banished it from this world.
The Ishmak are not entirely extinct, but the remnants of their nation are small and secluded.
