The Dragon Wars

The Dragon Wars began in 2,226 between the chromatic dragons and the metallic dragons along with the people of Ikeshia.

The Conflict

Prelude

Chromatic dragons always roamed the lands of Ikeshia, but there aggression towards the humanoids of the land was beginning to cause many problems and negative occurrences within the world. The creators of the metallic dragons, the Gods of Good, asked their creations to help protect Ikeshia in their time of need, as they were created to protect the innocent. The Gods believed that the Wicked Gods, who created the Chromatic dragons to protect their own selfish investments, were trying to make imbalance in Ikeshia.

Metallic Dragons: Platinum, Gold, Brass, Silver, Bronze, Copper, Steel, Iron, Mercury

Deployment

The people of Ikeshia helped where they could but were not match for an adult or ancient dragon. Though, the cultists that sprung up to worship the dragons were more likely to fight the humanoids of Ikeshia. Many people and dragons were lost in this war.

Battlefield

The war went on for twenty long years and cause destruction all over the Ikeshia. With some villages being completely annihilated.

Dead Metallic Dragons: Mercury, Iron, Copper, Steel

Conditions

With the help of the Monks, known as Aes Sedai who protect the Elemental Planes, the white, blue, green and yellow dragons were forced into the plane and shut inside. Four "keys" were spread throughout Ikeshia and safeguarded against anyone who would try to open the planes with the keys. The keys did many other things that are unknown to the people.
The black dragon was placed in The Ash. A volcanic territory of Ikeshia where no one goes. The chromatic dragons were no more. The metallic dragons, though known as hero's of Ikeshia, went into hiding. They did not want the world to be imbalanced once more.
