Iheya kids game rhymes

**DRAFT**
Kids and historical events. We all know if we let kids run the world it would likely be a better place. These rhymes were heard on various playgrounds and in the street games played by different groups. They were recorded to be as accurate as possible, but given the time and evolution of languages, and the change in perspective as time progresses forward, the current versions probably don't fully relay the full depth of destruction and despair that the events themselves created.   The first rhyme speaks to the demon scourge on Iheya near the height. Almost the entire island was destroyed and many people or bodies were never found. ~~~
the rocks fly
the rocks fall
there's fire in the sky
and my eyes hurt from smoke
don't stand over there
or you'll get a BOP on the head
and you'll never again spoke
~~~
This kids rhyme is mainly sung on the larger islands. During the Defense of Iheya, all of the Ryukyuri Kingdom provided manpower, arms, magics, everything they had and threw it to Iheya because they knew, if Iheya fell, it would signal the end.
my father fought and your father fought too
but now all we hear
is our mothers cry of boo hoo
no men left, boys too
how will we survive
without you too
~~~
Here we have one rhyme that Titus tells us is a known 'recent' change to the lines due to the progression of time. Titus heard it on one island without the final line, but the version on the main island near the bustling city of Shuyuri where many people come and go has had the final line added.
the earth has been torn
the seas laid bare
the sky is dark and full of fire
who will stop the scourge
heroes heroes heroes*

*line later added by the children
  Anthropological Scribe Titus is still collecting other rhymes and has recently been granted permission to visit one of the Himawari Homes where many of the living elders spend their time reminiscing and talking about past events and current politics.
