The First Trinket

Technological achievement

The Rox used their previous knowledge as scientists and artisans to recreate a device that could read the flow of mana in the surrounding area, traditionally called the Monster Tracker which would later be known as a component in a trinket called the Fog-Intensity Scale

After more dissections on different beasts and finding that every single one of them had that same weird organ, the theory erupted, that they had to be magical or at least innate to the metaphysics of this world. Knowing that a world more often than not closely follows their rules and regulations of magic, the Rox decided to recreate their old mana reader with the respective tweaks to fit their surroundings. In order to build this trinket, various rudimentary materials such as wood, stone, hide and leather had to be collected. Many of the inhabitants died during the gathering of materials for this artifact
