Half Elf
Two different halves never make a whole. Half elves are a result of close relationships between
elves and humans. Despite the Empire's policies of equality and unity, there are many tensions between its various races. Neither elves, nor humans count these "half-bloods'' among themselves. As a result, half elves learn to deal with hostility at a very early age. Many half elves take up careers in politics and diplomacy when they reach adulthood. For them, the New World is an opportunity to use their talents for the good of all and perhaps find more acceptance and appreciation.
