Kudret, Son of Nizar, was born in the Elegy measures, his herd travelling between Elegy, Anthem, and Monody. He has been a vocal proponent for caution against the southern hegemonies, and he would rather see Ylmazeyir’s herds scatter to new lands than become vassals to other nations. However, he does not consider himself a grand general or authority over all herds

Personal history

Former Commander of the Iris Sipahi, he is well known as formerly going by the title Kudret ibn Nizar dölZilak-Bashi, Captain of the Iris Sipahi.

Early Life

Kudret Spent much of his days as a colt travelling the measures of Anthem, Elegy, and Monody. His mother was the Divan of Order to Sultan Eldar Akyildiz, grandfather of the Sultan Ihsan. Her time was spent monitoring the borders of the Pearidor Empire and the fledging mongrel peoples that eventually formed the theocracy of Plegia. She would often bring Kudret along and wanted him to study in her path to Vezir of Order.

Military Career

Kudret was part of the raising of the Iris Sipahi. It was raised by Sultan Emir to clear areas of Anthem's Ruins from the residual bandits, and strange creatures that stalked them.
During these clearing actions the Iris Sipahi stumbled on a rattlesnake of epic proportions, dölZilak a rattlesnake of epic proportions.The sheer size of the beast spread rumors that it was a spawn of Zilak, a gargantuan serpent that swims beneath the dunes.
Kudret led his fellow cadets in a careful plan to lure the serpent from the ruins and they scared it into the deserts away from Anthem. Before it fled Kudret recovered the rattle from it. He had expert craftsmen create his legendary Helm from it. The Helm of the Iris was kept with Kudret even after the Iris Sipahi were disbanded.

Claimant Crisis

When the Iris Sipahi was disbanded he returned to his herd in the south. There he spent much of his time watching over the herds and occasionally joined patrols along the borders of Plegia & Pearidor.
When the eldest son of the Sultan Emir suddenly went missing and, his second son, Ihsan went out to find his brother, the third son, Altan, claimed the the title of Sultan. Sultan Altan's unfocused leadership left the herds facturing and on the verge of a full scale rebellion. Kudret joined the cause of Ihsan whom he believed to be the true leader of the people and Kudret caught and dragged Altan before Ihsan to face justice. Since that moment Kudret has served Sultan ihsan as the Keeper of the Deserts and loyal Vezir of Order.
Kudret was the one to suggest to Sultan Ihsan to grant the defender Berke Firat a’Kuzeyin the title of Himaye-Divan in Keen and Ode.
