Plegia
Plegia is a Theocratic Union located in the western slopes of the Thunder Mountains and the valleys lining the Great Desert. They are mostly consisting of Mongrelfolk that have formed some sort of psychic cult in the mountains.
Clothing
The Plegian people wear simple clothing typically dark in color and made for survival rather than style. Stitched together furs, linens and wools in a variety of natures create an almost plaid-like patchwork.Nobility
The nobility, of which there are few within Mongrel society that are not found with church positions under the watchful gaze of the Pariah, typically wear more expensive and vibrant clothing. Ocassionally dyes purchased from Ylmazeyir or Black Waters Trading Company are used to make extravagent clothing. Otherwise fine furs are valued especially of animals with brightly colored pelts. The peoples of Plegia emerged from the ashes of the civil war between the Western and Eastern Forces of what was once Theoidor Empire. The Mongrelfolk were already considered outcasts of society by the time of the fall of the Empire and several already had made homes within the sheltered isolation that is the Thunder Mountains.
The harshness of life eventually led the mongrelfolk to flock to Pariah Paresis with his cult-like ideology that galvanised the forsaken peoples.
Demography and Population
Many of the people are magically scarred Mongrelfolk, the others are mostly humans with a minority of hafllings and centaurs. The peoples of Plegia are mostly the children of outcasts, deviants, escaped criminals, and wounded soldiers. Those that the Pearidor Empire and its predecessor, the Theoidor Empire, cast away without care.
Territories
The Mongrelfolk claim all that lies within the Thunder Mountains, the lesser branch of the Great Dividing Mountains of Kagren. These provinces include Yrsinia, Ghoulbreak, and Gloomview. Some of the people claim that Monody and Passionreach are also part of the range.
