Personal history

"Oh, lord of hunt, king of shadows, the heartless one who feels the deepest sorrow. Oh, great Fae lord, let the wind through the forest carries away your tears, let the song of leaves soothes your aches. Oh, great Fae lord, we reach out for your guiding hand, return this pollen to the Great Mother."
When the flowers faded from Gaia's tree, the Earth Mother's heart was filled with sorrow. As tears fell down Gaia's eyes, changes occurred. In the places of the pink flowers, green leaves were sprouting from Gaia's branches, they grew and wilted in the blink of an eye, constant shedding, constant growing.   Before the first leaf reached the ground, it transformed into a being whose body is formed out of twinged branches, and whose head is a withered ashen thing. The being brought comfort to Gaia's heart, she crafted a tool out of the silver moonlight, and bestowed it to him.   "My child," spoke the Earth Mother, "You are a great being, came second after my flowers. It is befitting that you complete the circle, for there is a beginning, there is an end. Guide the Faes back to me, my child, when they wish to go home, I shall once again embrace them."   So Pan in the form of a withering faun, a deer skull as his head, and a great silver scythe in his hand, forever patrolled the land of the Faes, stood eternal vigil in between the gates.   When Mabel anchored herself upon Gaia's root in Avalon, the Fae realm lost its light. Pan being separated from his guiding light, sank into the darkness of his mind. He unleashed his anger and devastation unto the lives around him, causing massive destruction in his weak. The Faefolk fled and scattered in terror, and their pray of agony shook the foundation of Avalon. So Mabel sent forth her White Women, they brought back Mabel's light and restored balance of the land.   Pan woke up from his nightmare and guilt consumed his heart. The pain was tremendous that he had to carve his heart out of his body, leaving a hideous hole on his chest. In shame the Great Fae Reaper covered his eyes in a piece of Mabel's raiment, he locked himself in chains and distanced himself from the beings of Fae realm, he never abandoned his duty, but relinquished all other contact with Faefolk.   Till today, the Great Pan still looks over the Fae realms, he exists in the shadows of every tree, those who trespass the land of Faes will suffer the ire of the Great Pan.
