Plateau Eagle

A giant eagle native to the high plateaus of Brunivard, the Plateau Eagles build nests on the upper slopes of the snowy central peaks. They will cruise at great altitude, barely moving their wings as they cover great territories, before stooping to grab the wild game or lesser birds that are their preferred prey. They will not land, but will eat on wing, scattering the remains of their meals over a wide range, already on the lookout for their next meal. Mated adults will fly tremendous distances to bring fresh meat back to their mountain aeries and feed their young.
