Career

Qualifications

1st-level Druids (Aspirants) are either raised within a druidic enclave or invited from among the freefolk within the enclave's area of operations. Those who did not grow up with the Druidic language will be taught it upon acceptance into the enclave. Once an aspirant has earned enough experience serving the group, they are invited to join one of the Niche Druid orders or else become a Demi-Druid, honing secondary skills useful to the enclave at the cost of reduced druidic spell-casting potential. All Druids must subscribe to the Druidic Directive that one do no avoidable harm to wild places and their denizens.

Demi-Druids
Each type of Demi-Druid follows a different progression table. Instead of developing the usual Druid abilities as described in PHB, demi-druids have abilities corresponding to their non-Druidic counterpart. Their main differences from the classes they mirror is that all Demi-Druids use 8-sided dice for their hit points and roll on the Divines table for combat purposes. Except for Sgoilears, Demi-Druids max out at level 12 and cannot become candidates for enclave leadership.
Maor-Coille: Ranger abilities equivalent to a Ranger one level lower, but only casts Druid spells. Maor-Coilles do not gain the special abilities of the Warrior order.
