Proficiencies: Elemental Mastery

Elemental Mastery allows an adept to tap into that part of themselves which is tied to/constituted by the matter of the inner planes in order to wield this proto-prime material towards various effects in the Prime Material Plane. Martial artists use Elemental Mastery to unlock the special powers of elemental martial arts.
Mastering an elemental sphere requires proficiency in Meditation and a Master of that element who can guide the student. Different schools of martial arts, Wu Jen lineages, and religious groups all have their own approaches to achieving Elemental Mastery. It may or may not require the reading of scholarly works, it may or may not require communing with nature spirits.
