Clincher
This device is used to hold coins together in a secure manner to prevent them from falling about and to make theivery more difficult. They range from simple clinchers made of rope or wire to extremely complicated ones that require a key (or a puzzle to unravel). Some are even made magical, and require passwords or will only work for specific people.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Mundane Clinchers work with a long bar attached to a flat base (like a bolt with a large flat head) and a locking mechanism at the other end. The locking mechanisms vary, but the more complex the lock or better the materials, the more expensive they become.
