The Bottomless Caverns

The Bottomless Caverns are the deepest known caverns on Nasgovia, located near the centre of the Nasgovian Hooman Nation. It is a popular tourist destination, bringing in a variety of sightseers, from Hoomans, Nasgovian Humans and Edgevillians. In recent years, it became compulsory to book a reservation to be able to visit due to a number of incidents that involved visitors attempting to climb or jump into the cavern.

Exhibit

There is a small exhibit connected to the gift shop, that displays the history of the caverns since its discovery, as well as samples that explorers have found and recovered during their search into it's depths.
There are boards on the walls with images of various points of interest in the caverns, as well as a large map of what has been scoped out. One of the more interesting finds that exploration teams have fished out of the caverns has been a large piece of meteorite. There had been arguments between the exploration teams and the Science and Pharmaceuticals Sector about what should be done with it until they decided to split the rock so samples could be taken, while a chunk would remain and be displayed at the exhibit.
As a warning, there is a board with the names of visitors who have either died or disappeared near or at the caverns, in an attempt to discourage others from being too reckless.

Gift Shop

There is a small gift shop that is located nearby the main cavern entrance, which sells various souvenirs as well as cheap food and drinks, like chalk bars.

Multiple Caverns

While the largest cavern is the main attraction to visit, there are multiple entrances to other parts of the caverns, though they are not available to the public. Visitors are told to stay on the paths and not stray too far from the tracks. While a majority of the smaller entrances to the caverns have been marked, it is not a guarantee that a visitor won’t fall into a hidden one. There haven’t been any clear deaths heard of from visitors that have strayed off, but occasionally some have disappeared.

The Abyssal of the Caverns

While officially it has been made clear that the deaths and disappearances of visitors have been because of their recklessness around the caverns, there have been rumours circulating that there is a creature from The Abyss that’s been grabbing hoomans into the caverns.
The Abyssal has been described to be a large, thin, spindly bodied creature with multiple legs and hands, which helps it traverse the caverns and squeeze through tight spaces. It lures visitors to jump into the caverns by whispering words from the void.
The rangers generally disapprove of these rumours, while the gift shop and the tour guides have jumped on the opportunity to discuss The Abyssal, to encourage more people to visit and talk about it.
