Kaence's Lab by Nanotide
Kaence’s Laboratory where
Kaence did the majority of their research until 110 AC, along with their assistants. It is located in the Nasgovian Hooman capital, along with many other labs in the
Science and Pharmaceuticals Sector.
There are four main areas to the lab:
- Kaence’s Office: While they spend little time in there, Kaence uses their office to write up projects to be green-lit, to interview or talk to assistants out of ear-shot of others.
- Storage Room: To the far left of the lab is a storage room where equipment and samples are stored when not in use.
- Secondary lab: The secondary lab is located on the right side of the area, and also doubles up as the main entrance. Mainly harmless and/or small scale research is done here. Assistants are freely about to work on their own research here.
- Main lab: The main lab is located in the centre of the area, and is where Kaence does most of their research. Assistants will help with research they’ve been assigned on, however, they have to apply to be able to work on their own projects in there.
Shrimp
To the left of the laboratory, there are several tanks that Kaence has that are filled with aquatic creatures, mainly shrimp and jellyfish. Kaence is very particular and takes a huge amount of care for these creatures, and is very protective of them.
Kaence doesn’t allow anyone to touch the tanks and gets very irritated if anyone gets too close to them.
It has become a right of passage for new assistants to be told by the others to go and interact with the shrimp as it makes Kaence furious.
Nasgovian Exodus
Most of the lab was gutted for equipment by Kaence before they left to go on the
Exodus Ships but had it refitted for the assistants who were choosing to stay.
