15 - Return to Endhome
Back From Hell...bound Institute
General Summary
This session saw the Delvers of Ruin at last leave Kaplan's Isle and return to the Grand City Endhome. That journey was a week of flight, mostly over the open ocean, and everyone found a way to keep themselves busy.
Marcus cleaned his armor but ran out of things to clean and eventually resorted to tossing his dagger around for fun.
Velvet spent a lot of time in the rigging for the ship and relaxing in the evenings with Quartermaster Fingore. She finished the bag she was making for Amani but she had enough to keep her busy between helping Dix with the occasional magitech related concern and his burgeoning relationship with Fingore.
Dix, however, had plenty to keep himself busy. He continued to work on decoding the journal he found in the Hellbound Institute, making the bag of holding he was working on, and figuring out how to ask out Quartermaster Fingore. With advice from Velvet and Marcus, he spoke to her about restaurants and secured an evening at the Hungry Huntsman.
On their return to Endhome, as they decided to stop on their way to Barakus to get supplies and to give the crewmen who'd gone down into The Spiral some time off. They arrived at night, so most engagements would wait for the 'morrow.
They sold some loot, resupplied, and Dix had his date with Alain Fingore. It went about as well a date can go and they ended up sleepin in the hotel Alain had rented for the duration of their stay in Barakus.
