The Rainbringer Rashi (a.k.a. Telerashi; the Tempest's Fury)

Rashi is one of the twelve deities in the pantheon of the Heavenly Council. She is the first born daughter of Uriah and Porcia and often considered to be the fourth most important deity in the Council. Unlike most of the other Council deities, Rashi actually has two divine forms—her benevolent incarnation—Rashi, the Rainbringer—and her vengeful incarnation—Telerashi, the Tempest's Fury. In her benevolent form, Rashi is the goddess of rain, fertility, clouds, sisterhood, rivers, lakes, and irrigation. In her more aggressive form, Telerashi is the goddess of storms, vengeance, wind, weather, lightning, and naval warfare. Her image is usually more positive inland and in areas of mild weather, while she is a fearsome goddess in coastal regions or areas blighted by wind and rain.

Rashi's divine symbol is a series of three indigo rain drops on a dark grey field. Telerashi's divine symbol is a twinned bolt of indigo lightning on a dark grey field. Her sacred colors are indigo, navy, and dark grey.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Rashi is generally depicted as a stern woman with silver hair and flashing grey eyes. When she brings rain, she steps astride her chariot pulled by celestial horses or hippocampi and flies over the rain clouds. When depicted as Telerashi, she is dressed like an Old Temekanian warrior with a stern and furious expression. She wields her Hallowed Arms, the Heaven's Wrath in her right hand, sending twinning bolts of blue lightning down in anger and unpredictable rage.

Family Ties

Rashi is the firstborn daughter of Uriah and Porcia. As such, she sits at Uriah's right hand and is his most devoted child.
Rashi has several other divine siblings including:
