Core Timeline

There was nothing in the vast multiverse but this one speck that was some how sentient in its thought process and as soon as it able to think it grew curious about its situation and surroundings. It would spend years creating and self teaching to fully grasp what it was and where exactly it was currently residing in. At first it kept itself busy by manipulating its own physical form and become what it desired but it grew tired of the isolation it was stuck in and thought that if it expanded far enough maybe it could replicate or create more of it. However, upon attempt instead of making more of it, it instead explodes and as a byproduct it's remains was enough material to help create what would eventually be the multiverse.

At the edge of existence, on of the many worlds filled with sentient life, out of the blue came an eerie storm began to overshadow the resident planets and in seconds these worlds were covered completely. A few months later a celestial that patrols around that section of the universe went to scope out the situation only to drop off the radar. Despite everything being apart of the Entity, it wasn't able to observe what was going on these worlds and couldn't since any of the inhabitants. It tried to track the storm for it appears capable of expansion and eventually came to a halt as covers across the planet referred to now as Earth. Meanwhile over on said planet many of the inhabitants began panic in fear over the new development that has took over much of its atmosphere, and around the Mediterranean in the middle of the storm something from above came down from the sky and greeted the life forms. The being at first appeared indescribable but soon changed its appearance to match the local race, which were humans. It then began to surprisingly speak in the native tongue, he called itself the Forsaken claiming that like them that like them he was once a lowly servant who had to cope to with cycle of pain and death that mortals had to go through do to 'gods' that they worship. However, one day he decided he didn't want his life controlled by a being who allowed such torment to occur to their own subjects and to his surprise not only did his rebellion succeed but he also was able to kill them. With new found knowledge that the deities were killable he began to experiment with what being he could get his hands on and studied their bodies to understand their power. Overtime he himself became a being of immense power and now travels the universe to free the mortals of the restraints given to them by their gods and achieve eternal life. Many were skeptical about what he claimed but he quickly proved his power when many of the local deities tried to eradicate it but were quickly obliterated without much effort. Upon seeing what he did, many of the humans who were there took him at his word and began to follow him as he began a campaign to dominate the planet. However for a split second a deity that survived the attack immediately booked it off the planet to receive aid from other worlds, but to its horror there were not only space crafts making it clear that he wasn't lying about going to other worlds there were also other deities that have sworn allegiance to their 'god'.

This was able to occur thanks to the deity that tried to escape, it managed to make it outside the kuiper belt where it was discovered by a celestial and questioned before it died of its wounds. Upon receiving this new information the Entity went on to recruit deities from all corners of the universe and for the next few centuries they would accelerate their own worlds technology and power to launch an assault on the system.   Though even with the reinforcements the tide of the conflict has yet to turn in Earth's favor. The Forsaken's force seem almost unlimited, most of the ground forces were wiped out, and the enemy ruler was essentially an immortal god in his own right. Since there was no means of killing him he, the Entity made preparations to ensnare the dark god with a trap design to sap his power and shift his consciousness in between space. It took the sacrifice of many lifeforms, Deities, Celestials, and the creation of many new monstrous races for them distract them long enough for the trap the Forsaken. Upon his imprisonment the cosmic storm disappeared and most of his forces were wiped out by Entity's forces. Once that was over and done with, to keep him imprisoned his cage that takes the form of a box and tossed it into the deepest ocean that mortal could survive in, and the keys being spread out across the universe. As another precaution announced that the Earth was a no fly zone for extraterrestrials and placed many Celestials around the solar system to ensure no one entered and or disturbed the box.   After the conflict Earth had to deal with the consequences of the Forsaken appearance, such as the new abundance of monsters that were created during the war, the blow to the population of quite a few races, and the remnants of the followers of the dark god that are now in hiding. With all of these issues many races left the world to start over elsewhere and those who remain trying to fix their world with the aid of outside sources such as the Celestials.

After the other races fell from grace, the average population for the strange and paranormal has become rare, resulting in many humans over the generations to become ignorant and ignore what was once common by referring to it as a made up wise tale. The end result would be that later down the line whenever a human does come across something of the paranormal they would now normally respond with fear and confusion. For centuries witch hunts would form and hunt down those considered strange and dangerous, such practitioners of magic and heathens who fail to worship their 'god' that has kept them safe from harm. By the late 1300 AD, many paranormal creatures by this point lived in small reservations and lands that many humans deemed haunted and inhospitable, some even went to the new world where they had a better relationship with the natives there. Meanwhile most Magi are stuck as traveling nomads. Eventually Celestials got tired of chasing dead leads on the Forsaken's followers, resulting in most of them abandoning the Earth and returning to their palace in Otherworld.
