A mysterious group mentioned quite a few times within the files of Vigilant that has very little known facts regarding its existence. A lot of what is talked about or discussed is that they are a shadow group reminencent of the Illuminati in that supposivedly pull the strings regarding disasters and attrocities that have occured throughout history. However, many of these files are also rather quick to dismiss these claims and have more or less reffered to the existence of such a group as a mere rumor. Regardless, the idea of this group has peaked the interest of many young investigaters, who are eager to be the one who reveals the existence of an ancient shadow group secretly running the world.
According to the rumors, if you choose to believe them that is, is that they wanted to bring about chaos into the modern era.
If you believe the rumors and stories regarding the lore of this organization, they've supposedly been around since ancient Mesopotamia during the Lost Age. They initially were rather quiet throughout the millenia avoiding detection from the many different factions of the world, with the decline of the paranormal and humanity growing independence from the divine resulting in them taking a more active role within the shadows of the world. Conspiracy theorist from all walks of life would blame them for many of the crimes and horrors that have occured over the last two millenia, claiming them to be responsible for sparking the flames of conflict between the 'ignorant' humans and the dwindling creatures of the supernatural in the hopes of causing a grand scale conflict. However, I must remind readers that this group is very much hearsay and that their is no real evidence that supports their actual existence.
All actions and motives must in the long run support their cause or the release of their lord, anything outside of this is considered a waste of energy and punishable by death. Thanks to this belief As long as their actions helps ensure that their goal is met, any action and method used is needed despite where it falls under moral spectrum.
