Lord of Gluttony Baal Zebub (a.k.a. Master of Curses, Ruler of the Horde or Lord of Plagues)

A Category 5 Fallen Deity from the Philistines, who was once a minor weather and fertility god until the foreign god arrived onto the planet and slain many of his comrades. Sometime afterwards he became allies with the entity that many scholars refer to as Lucifer, where from there he became the infamous demon lord that pop culture tends to portray him as. According to a few notes from the Arcane Institute he tends to be described as the rather odd one out other Abyss Lords according to rumors that they came across on the Daemon grapevine. One description to be an individual who causes random acts of misfortune to even his fellow lords for the sake of his own amusement, then he's describe to be the most loyal to Lucifer by comparison to the other lords. So much so that he usually acts as the main enforcer and watchdog for Lucifer in keeping them all in line.

Personal history

Earliest reports and obscure lore brings up that Beelzebub was once in individual referred to as Baal or Baal Zebub, a god that was worshiped in ancient Philistine as a god of weather and fertility. However, at some point in history he began to become affiliated with demons and was considered an evil being there on out. Many scholars believe this might have been a result of a change in faith within the region that resulted in once worshiped god to be demonized by the new faith. Though files from the Institute do have reports involving captured Daemons and Investigators who mention a character with the name Beelzebub who is among the ranks of the Hellish Hierarchy. Reports made by the elves also mention Baal as a relatively minor god who vanished during the Lost Age and around this time Beelzebub appeared and since been mentioned every once in awhile by the Other-world investigators.
