Other-World

The unseen metaphysical reality that dwells above and surrounds the 3rd physical dimension, like veil that covers all of reality.

Geography

A parallel world or dimension that resides several planes above our own. In this realm physics is almost nonexistent and its physical layout makes little sense with what is known today by science. To most this dimension resembles a lush forest that's consumed by immense fog, and above it all was a tower or ‘stairway’ of light with disc-like planes surrounding it. At the very top of this tower resembles a shining citadel that blinds all who looks at it.

History

Through analysis by some researchers at the Arcane Institute, they believe this could possibly be what ancients refer to as the other world, a realm in which magical creatures supposedly live and travel through to enter other realms. This place was thought to have where the souls of the deceased would go after they pass on from the physical 3rd dimension. Though there have been instances in which those of the living were able to enter the other world, mostly due to stumbling or accidentally entering through a tear in space/time.

Tourism

Aethereal beings such as Deities, Celestials, and Daemons are capable of traveling through here freely as they exist across multiple wave frequencies. Mortals however can only physically observe and reside here through the use f special worm holes or tears in reality.
