Battle is often decided by finding the right ground. Despite his limited mastery of court process and eloquent speech, Wit always seems to find the right ground. Where others that serve his Earl may be more successful in negotiations or interactions, they only do so if they can line their own pockets in the process. Wit needs nothing more than a shield and the faith that his life is best used to further his Earl's cause. Wit has found a sense of peace and comfort to the role his life has taken. Combat is his quiet place. Where Monks cloister themselves far from any action to achieve peace, Wit can reach it in the most pitched battles. Sporting countless souvenirs from campaigns hard won, he wants for nothing. In battle he finds peace - through service he finds his freedom. Though not the most massive or quickest soldier in body or mind. A common refrain has followed Wit all his life: "Did he intentionally come in second?"

Dark skin contrasts bright green eyes. Light lines crisscross his body where many a blade had been temporarily sheathed before its owner was cut down.

Personal history
Early in his life, Thadius had been difficult to control. Fearless of repercussions from authorities, Thadius only cared about what he wanted to do in the moment. Then came war. He became an adult overnight, and immediately changed into a disciplined and rule enforcing force of Mordale.
His final act of capriciousness was to enlist in the Army. When asked what his name was, he simply replied "Wit" and was always called that from then on.
