There are several smelters in town due to the iron mines around the town. In addition, there is the Count's keep as well as several wealthy homes for Nobility along with a small stream that acts as the water source, but is too small to float cargo down.

Nestled between the Neverwinter Wood and the Hotenow foothills, the town is situated in a fairly defensible location with it's earthen walls.
Natural Resources
Most of the nearby forests have been stripped for construction of the mines and related infastructure, so what remains of the forests is of considerable distance from town. There are plentiful iron veins that the town exploits however.
