Bayak

Richest of the plains tribes, the Bayak have many smaller groups or herds which they also sell to the Rashi and Katharan . The Bayak live on their southernmost plains of Queen’s reach, the Bayak unlike many other tribes have close connections with the Samitah, who they encountered during the Harrow storm, as such they been allowed to come up to the flood plains during floodings and warmer seasons when plenty of water and surplus of grazing is available.   This connection has garnered their trust with the smaller Katharan villages where the Samitah hold sway, and therefore great places to trade their wares and even settle for smaller periods of time. The Bayak’s see this trade and cooperation as the lifeblood of their people and are keen on preserving such bonds, and therefore have little trouble justifying tribal infighting when they move in aggressively on their territory or that of the villages to preserve their connections.   Though many other Karithi sees them as a weak clan or looks down upon them for working so closely together with the city dwelling. For these deeds, and therefore few Karithi welcome them, and most shun them even during gatherings at Karlks gift.   The tribe is lead by Khundra Bayar Checheg, though it is highly unusual for a woman to lead amongst the Karith, amongst the Bayak it has grown to be accepted due to their extended contact with Rashi has made the notion much more common, and favorable when trading with them   The clan consists of 5 herd groups, each consisting of 60 to 100 clansmen, of which a third consists of half orcs and orcs.
Khundra Bayar Checheg has lead the Bayak for 12 years and has only deepened the relation established by her predecessors. Though hotheaded as most with orcish blood is, she has shown great capacity to utilize this passion in pushing trade deals and defending their grazing territory and establishing lavish festivity with those they pursue trade with.
