Ashanok

Sitting at the mouth of the River Ashan on the western coast of Mar Miskun, Ashanok is the largest city in the League. The city benefits from the fertile lands of the river valley, and is known for its great harbour wall and fortress citadel. Looking westwards, the city is a key trading point for the southern cities of Forbin and the Seynan Islands.  

Ashmantan

Ashmantan, a small town in the fertile vales of the River Ashan, is a bustling small town known for its pottery made from local clay deposits. The town has recently been plagued by brigands.  

Balmin

Balmin, at the foot of the Penstrarn Hills, is known for its stone. The golden stone extracted from its quarries is popular for decorative masonry. The small town is home to a large temple to Piatok.   The town is known for its golden stone extracted from local quarries. However, the town is also home to a rare type of lizard whose bright-colored scales are highly prized for making intricate jewelry and ceremonial garments. The townspeople have developed a thriving industry around this resource.  

Barvon Bir

The town of Barvon Bir is famous for its hot springs and geysers, as well as its mining and metalwork.  

Barvon Dola

Barvon Dola, a small farming town south of Ashanok, lies on the River Barvon in a fertile plain. It is home to a revered guardian mage. who protects the town.  

Crellimon

Crellimon is a quaint fishing town at the mouth of the River Jin, nestled in a narrow bay with hills behind. Known for its talented sailors, the town’s temple to Jires is the town’s dominant feature.   The town has seen its population dwindle over the years due to a decline in the fishing industry. The once-bustling town is now a shadow of its former self, with many of the younger residents leaving in search of better opportunities elsewhere.  

Halfway

Halfway sits midway between the cities of Ashanok and Penstrarn, at the southern edge of the Kalar Plains.   The town is surrounded by breathtaking salt flats that stretch to the horizon. The town’s people have learned to navigate these flats, which flood during the rainy season, turning the area into a shimmering sea of saltwater.  

Horban

Horban, a small port on the west coast, is situated at the mouth of the River Tholmir. The town is known for its fishing and crab catching. However, it is also home to a secretive cult that worships an ancient sea deity. The cult’s influence has grown over the years, and now many of the townspeople are involved in its dark rituals.  

Jerrindal

Jerrindal is a small mining town nestled in the Penstrarn Hills, known for its skilled blacksmiths. The town is located above a deep gorge through which flows a small but turbulent river.   Each Frenal, the town hosts the Lantern Tide festival, a captivating event where golden leaf lanterns illuminate the night. This tradition commemorates the town’s survival through a brutal winter, with a breathtaking lantern procession through the gorge being the festival’s highlight.   An old forge in the town is rumoured to be imbued with magical properties.  

Kunkana

Kunkana is a large town situated on a high plateau between the Charred Hills and the Penstrarn Hills, and overlooks the Naylin Desert below. It is a centre for mining and metalwork.  

Penric

Penric is a small town on the northeastern coast of Mar Miskun.   The town is governed by a corrupt lord who imposes heavy taxes on the townspeople and uses his power to maintain control. The town’s once-thriving jewelry trade has declined due to his greed, and the people are growing increasingly resentful.  

Penstrarn

Penstrarn is a wealthy port city on the northeastern coast of Mar Miskun. The city is built into the coastal cliffs, with its fresh water collected in great vats. Looking out across the Sea of Fair Winds, Penstrarn trades with Teros, Forbin, and the Mar Mabon Townships.  

Rantimon

Rantimon, set in the rocky hills of the Penstrarn Hills, is a small and narrow town, built along a river gorge. The town is known for its hunters and their formidable archery skills.   The town is located near the mysterious and beautiful Fannashmor Caverns. These caverns, filled with glowing crystals, are believed to hold magical properties, drawing adventurers and scholars from across the region.  

Siramon

Siramon is a small town in the Penstrarn Hills, located in a valley below towering cliffs.   An old legend tells of a giant eagle that guards a hidden treasure in the hills.
