Rulers of Mar Mabon

There is no single ruler or government with power across all of Mar Mabon's settlements. Each town or city is independent with its own Master or Mistress, and cooperation (when it is achieved at all) is ad hoc and haphazard. The most powerful figures are the rulers of the largest towns and cities.

Mistress of Gathansin

The ancient Mistress Sarall Bantheen has ruled the port town of Gathansin for over five decades, outlasting rivals, would-be usurpers, and foreign meddlers alike.
Her reputation for shrewd diplomacy, unwavering resolve, and judicious use of force has made her a legend in her own lifetime

Prince of Argonsa

Though Teros’s hold over the archipelago has long since waned, the title of Prince has endured in the city of Argonsa, and the tradition of princely rule remains a point of pride for its citizens. The current holder of the title is Prince Alfic Galmanda.
Known for his charm, ambition, and formidable magical abilities, Alfic has solidified his rule over Argonsa, ensuring his authority is absolute. The prince is well-connected, both feared and admired within the city, as he holds considerable influence over Mar Mabon’s other towns. His private intelligence network keeps a close watch over the city, ensuring that Alfic is alerted to any dissent or unrest.
In addition to his skills as a leader, Alfic is also a skilled Channeler.

Lord of Orbont

Tormus Trivek is the current Lord of the city of Orbont on Mar Mabon's northern coast. Often referred to as 'Tormus the Handsome', the young noble became ruler of the city on the death of his father. Charming and charismatic, and a skilled political tactician, Trivek deftly navigates the city's mercantile and guild factions.

Master of Curmon

Amansan Orlindeen is the current Master of the port of Curmon. He is a thoroughly corrupt individual.

Mistress of Tabann

Vastiss Heraxa is the Mistress of the port town of Tabann on the north coast of Mar Mabon.
She is a competent administrator and respected in the town.

Master of Bellos

Rikallam Goltarr is the ancient Master of the island town of Bellos. A calculating and corrupt individual, Master Goltarr has amassed great wealth over his decades in charge of the port.
