The Kazlaa are one of the humanoid species inhabiting the
Helerin Archipelago. They are counted among the
Newcomers who arrived in the islands two millennia ago.
Physical appearance
Kazlaa are tall, hairy, and well-muscled, they have large fangs and clawed feet. Hair is often red, brown, or golden, turning white in old age.
Lifespan and growth
Kazlaa generally live to around the age of 65. They reach adulthood at roughly the age of 16.
Innate attributes and abilities
Kazlaa can be ferocious fighters, although they are not inherently aggressive.
A small proportion of Kazlaa are able to use
magic.
Populations
Kazlaa are the third most numerous of all the species inhabiting the islands, making up approximately 12% of the total population. They live among the general population in Helerin's realms, with no settlements of their own.
The island of
Sar Ferrat is notable for its large population of Kazlaa.
