Goblins
The small outcast folk of the South on the Continent of Aederos. Goblins are a race to recently appear at the end of The Third Aeon. Some time after the eruption of Mount Anthiok, the Goblins surfaced from cavernous depths in the south of Aederos. Seeking new homes in the caves of The Zobir Argqueno Badlands or the deep marshes of The Tzariban Swamps.
Historians believe that their place of origin might've been somewhere near or even directly beneath the Volcano. And as such were displaced by the eruption. But none can truly say, and neither can the Goblins. Because they do not record their history. Even speculation on a possible parent species is just that, speculation.
While their origins remain a mystery. They are very present in the world. In The Heartland, they live side by side with both the Communities of Men, and in the Hordes of Orcs that live as nomadic tribes in the Heartland. And in the south, they can be found fighting side by side with the Orcs against The Ramian Empire. Who simply slaughter them on sight rather than take them as slaves.
