The Dwarves of Khar Berad fought a long and arduous war with the Heartland Men of Bannburg to assert the territory of their Khar (Nation) and its various Thrangz (Settlements). Only reaching an accord with the Bannburg Humans while Bannburg was still a vassal state of The Kingdom of Dekmire. The Dwarves of Khar Berad are also known among the Men of Bannburg and the other Dwarven Kingdoms as the Ironback Clan. So named for their superior skills at crafting Kelvar Armor. The Dwarven armor type that has defended their persons on every battlefield since their time in this world began.
