Greatest Hunter in the World (a.k.a. Bo)
Bogurt (Born Summer of 161) is a famed Dwarven hunter of Sijmen Sur and current member of the Argent Company.
History
Birth and Early Life
Born in the year 161 A.U., Bogurt was born in Sijmen Sur within one of the various Dwarven communities. The community Bo was born into were known for their hunting prowess and this was in fact how they acquired most of their wealth. The community would host hunting tournaments around the world, and people could sponsor different hunters to bring back some part of the animal or creature as proof. Bo was taught the rituals and traditions of this community and learned how to hunt, track, and survive in many different circumstances. When Bo was old enough he would join his father and brothers on their hunts, learning even more from the experiences. Eventually Bo was old enough to participate in the Great Hunt, and would fight for sponsorship to bring home wealth and honor to his family.Later Life
Bo would survive each of his Great Hunts but would never succeed in winning any which would greatly frustrate him, especially since his father and older brother had both won a Great Hunt. In 265 AU during his last Great Hunt, Bo was ambushed by the Clan Lord's son who tried to kill him, which broke the Great Hunt's rules regarding harm unto another hunter on purpose. The conflict would leave the Clan Lord's son dead killed by Bo's hands in self defense. Bo returned to Sijmen Sur bearing the ill news, however upon hearing the story, the Clan Lord surmised that Bo must have killed his son to lessen the competition for future hunts, and demanded Bo's head for compensation. This would have occurred had Bo's house not gotten involved, and with some diplomatic pulling of strings, were able to get Bo exiled instead of executed. Thus began Bo's journey out in the world to becoming known as a great hunter, maybe even the best, and to one day return and win the Great Hunt and bring honor to his house once more.Travels
Bo would first go to Briar Glen to learn the ways of the Druids, who were well known to be connected to nature, and use strange magics. Bo had heard from Imperial Rangers that many of their own are taught this fey magic which made them powerful assets. Upon reaching Briar Glen Bo found a teacher, and would spend upwards of twenty years learning how to wield and perfect the magic of the druids. Next Bo would travel to Sinopa, a land of undead and monsters, but it would be these monsters that Bo sought out. Learning from the locals, Bo would hunt down various creatures that inhabited the dead lands. On some occasions he would be hired by nobles and elites to capture certain creatures. After another couple decades in Sinopa learning all he could, Bo would again set out into the world. Bo would find himself in the East, traveling around the mountain ranges stretching from Teoti Itza down to the Autumnvale, the ancestral lands of his people. He would hunt creatures his forefathers hunted, traverse through the dwarven ruins that weren't infested with Orcs, and take odd jobs like killing a creature that was harassing a village, or teaching nobles to hunt wild game. When Emperor Friedrich Wythe died, and the Wythian Empire collapsed in the years after, travel became harder and more dangerous. Bo would stay in the East until 403 AU, when he would travel to Westwythe and begin exploring the birthplace of the former empire. With more creatures to hunt on the subcontinent, Bo would be occupied until 420 AU when he would look towards a more challenging place to hunt, the far north of Sevnónicha. While in Sevnónicha Bo would continue his practice of helping the local nobility on dangerous hunts and helping persons with animal problems. It would be here that Bo would take a Chieftain's son out on a hunt, and encounter Alicia. The confrontation would lead the Chieftain's son to be murdered by Alicia, leaving Bo with a similar situation to that at home. Returning to the Chief and explaining the situation, the Chief nonetheless blamed Bo since he was entrusted with the boy's life, and so Bo would run again into the frozen wastes of Sevnónicha, evading the hunters after him, that is until he was found by the Argent Company.The Argent Company
Bourt would be found by the Argent Company and would be taken in by them, offering his abilities as a tracker and lon range fihter to their cause. He would travel with them on their crusade to Sinopa, into the heart of Eastwythe, and finally to the end of the world in the far Northern Reaches beyond Sevnónicha. There he and the group would encounter Giants, Ice Worms, a dragon, and even the mytholoical Gelid Titan. Upon the aqusition of all the artifacts, the Argent Company teleported away back to known lands, all except Bogurt who insisted on staying to fell the beast of legends. Currently he is presumed missing, and possibly dead.
