United Earth Government

During The Great Wychmyr-Kharst War, a small group of politicians began making plans to create a united government for all Humanity. They saw that the The Kharst Empire was able to have many planets under a strong central government. Colonies on other planets were established to lay the groundwork for this new human empire. These politicians were not able to get the cooperation of all the major powers and many colonies not alligned with their vision were founded.
When the war ended in 2002 this shadowy group continued to make moves to attempt to quietly form their empire. Eventually, war was seen as their only path and from 2006 to 2012 The Earth Unification Wars were fought on Earth and in the Solar System to establish The UEG, along with some skirmishes in other colonial territories. Not everyone is thrilled with this.
