The Kharst Empire
The Khar System was home to two planets that evolved intelligent life; Khar Prime and Elhara. The Kharst and the Elharians were able to see that the other planet was inhabited through telescopes and each began plotting the other’s downfall. Generations later, the war began and lasted for several generations more. However, instead of hatred, a deep respect between the two was built and neither could destroy the other. The Empire was founded with the two species united as equals. The Kharst are the more boastful and proud so their name is carried by the entire Empire, but only a fool mistakes that as evidence that the Elharians are not truly considered equal.
