The History of Haven so far
Members of an ancient cyborg race have been found in ruins and are theorized to either be a servant class to the progenitors or the progenitors themselves. Ancient tarfields and fossils seem to indicate a vast prior ecosystem that failed catastrophically. Mummified remains seem to hint at a race of sentient mice, or perhaps a reverence for the progenitors favored pets?
Current Species & Cultures
Only humans and a few sentient megafauna inhabit here with purpose although intelligence is suspected in some species of sea snakes. The modest cliff dwelling villages of the east contrast with the more flamboyant and metropolitan western tribes living in the rubble plains and deltas.
Needs & Relations
Westerners are great artisans and craftsmen, and inquisitive scientists and explorers, also the most fearsome warriors and quite territorial. They are in demand of ores, animal materials and spices from the east and distant dunes.
Easterners demand little, but appreciate the machinations and fine wares of the western cities. They value companionship and a good story most of all.
Tribesmen of the distant dunelands are always in search of precious treasures, ruins, and newly exposed farmland and grazing lands revealed by the shifting sands. They trade thier finds for provisions and services rendered in towns where they may visit.
