Wyvern

Wyverns live in the northern mountains populated by the zmei-kin. There are two breeds of wyverns. The domesticated and the wild ones. The domesticated ones have leathery skin. They are smaller and more docile than wild wyverns but can barely fly. They lay eggs on a daily basis which zmei-kin eat. Zmei-kin keep their wyverns in a large, fenced area.

The wild ones still have all their spunk and aggression but they are no match to zmei-kin. Wild wyverns have tough, dull colored scales. They are solitary predators that eat large birds and medium sized mammals. Neither breed have any aura abilities and rely on their teeth and claws alone to kill their prey. Wild wyverns are hunted by zmei-kin for their flesh and their blood which is used to make wine.
