Gargu-Hyeka or Brown Orc
The common or brown orc, which averages about four feet in height, represents about half of Hârn’s Gargun population; their fur ranges in color from dark brown to auburn.
Small bands of queenless Hyeka may be found dwelling in a manner similar to the Gargu-Araki, but they are most noted for their large cave complexes, typically with a queen and 1,000 - 1,200 males. Most Gargu-Hyeka communities are located on the edge of mountainous regions and consist of one queen, several dozen princesses, and between 1,000 and 2,000 males.
The Hyeka are excellent mining engineers, second only to the Khuzudul. Their complexes will be tunneled out of rock or earth; although natural caverns may be included, chambers and passages tend to run in straight lines. There will be numerous pits and traps designed to foil intruders. Their cave complexes tend to be built around iron deposits, with smithies and armouries, where they produce fairly good weapons, mangs and mankars as well as passable scale and mail armour but most of the adults wear leather armour or none at all.
