Azgilith Torgoth

Azgilith Torgoth is the owner and proprietor of the Cliffhold Inn, a comfortable establishment in the southern part of Sea Side. Born in the Fimbulvetr Mountains, he is a Hobgoblin male, bearing the scars and hosting the skills to prove it. For the last ten years he has been a community leader in Sea Side and knows as much as any bartender about the personal lives of the citizens of Corio, the Sea Side in particular.  Though a hobgoblin, he has face little discrimination from the native Plain-Dwellers but has struggled with more than a few Keildeners and Northerners who have traveled to the city.

Personal history

Born and Raised in the Fimbulvetr Mountain, Azgilith was once a soldier in the Orcish Alliance, battling House Odinson.  During a raiding mission however, he was captured and left by his people.  Despite under the threat of death, and despite being abandoned, Azgilith did not divulge the location of his home village to interrogators.  This act impressed the soldiers of House Odinson who ended up sparing his life.  Slowly the citizens of Lonland welcomed him into the fold and he became known as the goblin reformer - a bit of a jab at his heritage that he grew to accept and claim.  Though due to circumstances, he had to leave the North and eventually settled in Corio - a much more tolerant city by his own reckoning.
