Overview
In the days of olde, before time was measured and words were written, all elves lived in harmony and joy. They spent their days and nights celebrating the sun, moon, and nature. Each year spun through the seasons, bringing hardship and happiness in equal measure, so that elvenkind could grown, learn, and love throughout their lives.
Then catastrophe struck. A powerful mage found an artifact from the time before that was imbued with an ancient evil. This mage sowed distention between the powerful houses that made up the Council of Twelve. This caused the first civil war to break out between the elves that led to disharmony and madness. In the end, the Twelve House broke apart into Three Factions: The
Argia Elves, The
Egurra Elves, and The
Iluna Elves.
The history has been long and fraught with battle, heartbreak, and distention. At this point, the Three Fractions are more subspecies of the earlier Elven species. The
Argia Elves embraced the sun, and all that is order and discipline. They built their cities upon a square with each district distinct in its appearance and structure. The
Egurra Elves embraced nature and all it encombasses. They took to the forests and waterways, becoming one with nature. The
Iluna Elves embraced the moon and all its shadows. They travelled to far away land looking for a new home deep in the heart of the land, underneath the mountains of their prior homes.
