Miza Saltskin Crisis
Criminal ActivityThe infamous Pangolin pirate is perhaps the most famous criminal in Garadek history. After selling forged religious artifacts to the Zihari Holy League, she was able to kidnap the League's Heirophant and hold him for ransom. The ensuing negotiations led to the deaths of several forge-lords and merchant-princes, and Miza was forced to flee to distant Loanua. There, she founded the Kamalean Pirate Republic and eventually became a paladin of Emesh.

Neither has occurred, but Garadel has gone back to developing many of its own social structures and there is less of a perceived need to be like Samvara or Sonev.
