Military action

The total destruction of the Truthful Path government and the official ending of the Fifth Scouring of Stildane. Beginning of most modern histories of North Stildane.

The End of the Last Scouring of Stildane, when an alliance of Reverent Path rebels, Lunar paladins, and Hain-led warriors slaughtered the crumbling Truthful Path government. Some of this was political action, with governors and officers supporting the new Kivish Empress Neshra I arresting officials or pressuring them to abandon the retreating Regency Council of Verkona IV (who died several months prior). Much of it was military action, with many small battles between Truthful loyalists and Reverent revolutionaries.   The Children of Verkohn and Truthful Path had been crumbling since their major defeat in the South in 1740, and basically lost control of the North when Verkona was assassinated, but the military council fought to the last breath in Eveko and Rumakel. The Week of Cleansing ended that; those who did not abandon the Truthful Path after Verkona died were purged. It was the end of a long period of Kivish aggression, and the beginning of the current "age of peace and reason".
