Una Highhome

Una Highhome is an elite Octoperson aristocrat-in-exile from the Kingdom of Orpora. She is a close friend of Kalo Orporsblood who played a key role in helping Makar Mesaba destroy the Plague Engine of Farwater Reef.
Una Highhome was born into a family of elite military aristocrats in Farwater Reef. Once a clan of warriors loyal to the ancient emperor Orpor, the Highhomes had mellowed and basically ran logistics producing toxic gas weapons for the kingdom. Like almost all elites of Orpora, Una still had to undergo the ruthless trial of competition after hatching from her egg - killing other elite youth to earn her place. Going from such intense violence to a rote logistics job shocked her and made her question everything about life. While Una did not become a radical revolutionary from this questioning, she was cynical and disillusioned with the basic foundations of Orporan culture and political life. When she was assigned to work with the young royal Kalo Orporsblood to better streamline chemical weapon production and sales for expansion, the two bluebloods bonded over a shared desire to change things. 
Una knew that her dreams of change were always just that: dreams. Kalo was more willing to act but also quickly gave into despair when action failed to compel change. The two held each other in balance and became the nucleus of a more reasonable and cautious faction in the kingdom. And yet, the two steadily drifted apart as Kalo became more isolated, melancholy, and resigned.
And then, the Queen died and the Orporan Civil War began. Kalo seized the capital and became King, but fell into an intense and unshakeable despair. Plague Warlocks took over the government and began purging resistance. Kalo had Una spared and she remained alone, operating the machinery that now slowly killed the entire world. Alone, Una would have just stayed dreaming of action - Makar Mesaba helped her actually turn Kalo against the Warlocks and destroy the Plague Engine.
With the collapse of Kalo's regime, Queen Mora Orporsblood began invading the capital and Una was forced to flee with Kalo, and Orben Orporsblood to Vikasha.
Her whereabouts are currently unknown.
