Taina Mesaba

Taina Mesaba was born to the Ezikibi family, a line of devout Windweavers very involved in the Kamadan temple. Taina didn't always like the intensity of her parent's faith and she often clashed with them - they were loving people, but she was stubborn and assertive. When she courted a young man named Mazaru Mesaba, he and his friends helped her get space from her parents. Space helped her heal her relationships, and she looked to the future with optimism. She and Mazaru married and had three children: Koyevi Mesaba, Marraf Mesaba, and Makar Mesaba.
Since then, things have fallen apart. Not just for her, but for the whole world. Her husband is terminally ill, her family is in debt, the world is literally ending. But she refuses to acknowledge that things are broken. She just leans on her eldest, Koyevi, and stubbornly persists. 
With the rest of the family, planning to evacuate to Suwirsha.
