Hainish language

The Hainish language group is a group of dialects in Northern Stildane associated with the non-Kobold populations of the midlands - notably the Kingdom of Hain, which has championed these languages wherever its influence has spread.   This language group began many centuries ago as a pidgin of various local languages that were forced together across the midlands following the pummeling of the continent with Ederstone at the end of the divine era. This trade tongue was formalized by the early post-Cursed-Storm states of Andrig and [Gennorholn and largely diverged into two different languages from there - only to be crammed together again by the Kivish invasions that wiped out both societies. The Kivish Scourings forced people to comingle and cooperate across cultural and ethnic lines for many centuries, and the critical influence of the Hainish tribes in organizing that resistance brought their version of the language into international dominance.   While Hainish lacks the raw cultural power and naming dominance of Wakingtongue, it is still necessary if you want to talk with the commonfolk of Hain, Andrig, Kagaren, or Gennorholn.
