Erelia Sarana

Erelia Sarana is a mean, grizzled warrior. This older terse woman is the chief Meako ranger of the Sarana Tribe - the most capable and skilled warrior and Moa-bird rider of the tribe who has sworn her life to protecting the tribe as it migrates. She has clearly seen, and maybe done, horrible things, and she is a figure of fear among the Sarana tribe's youngsters. She wants the children to be intimidated, to see warrior training as a frightening obstacle requiring absolute focus and seriousness. 
For all her grouchiness and occasional acts of genuine petty meanness, Erelia is a loyal warrior who genuinely wants the best for her people. Erelia helped teach Potha Sarana and recommended both her and Eora Sarana to the Minora Forest School for further training.
