Cursed Storms

The Cursed Storms of Stildane were an ancient disaster, cursed magical storms that self-propelled in a system of magical devastation across Northern Stildane from about 209 to 300 ME. The Cursed Storms slowly lost power over time, but their final end was accelerated by the legendary hero Ustav - leading to his deification by those who survived.
The Cursed Storms are generally regarded as a second Stildanian apocalypse - after the Divine Scouring of Stildane but before the First Kivish Scouring. 
The Cursed Storms are a mythic event in Stildanian religions like Uvara and Kivishta; many see the end of the Storms as the start of history. Many of Stildane's most ancient cities, such as Old Geinsteinn and Selvergen, were built as refuges during the time of the Cursed Storms.
